What sewing machine would work well for…?
Well, im starting to get into tactical tailoring. This is the hobby of making homemade tactical and military gear, clothing pouches etc.
For this i will have to sew many layers of 725d cordura nylon fabric at once. Along with multi layered waterproof material for ponchos etc.
What would be a good sewing machine for doing this,
i have my eye on the Shark ™ 80 Stitch Sewing Machine
http://www.wards.com/Housewares/Sewing-and-Ironing/Shark-80-Stitch-Sewing-Machine.pro?fpi=38543&catCd=SW
It has all metal gears and a walking foot among many other accessories that are all needed for doing the task at hand.
Are their any cheaper and more reliable/better sewing machines cuz the shark is 0.00.
Please help
I found these prices on these machines and im thinking about getting them.
Kenmore ( i dont know the model) 10.00 its at a thrift store so it is an older model.
White rotary 25.00
WestingHouse 25.00
The last two are older cabinet models that are all steel. Im leaning towards those two but i dont know which one.
