shall I buy a sewing macine?

1)I’m a student, time is limited, I’ve been making my own clothes and accessories for a long time(if you ask me why not purchase clothes in the shops to save time, I’m sorry it just waste even more time to find a one that both suits me and I like), I really want to sew faster and firmer, will a sewing machine help?
2)is it hard to learn using a sewing machine? Because if it takes a long time to learn, I’d prefer to learn it after I have more free time
3)I live in a school dormitry room with 3 other students, I don’t have much personal space and I hope a sewing machine is not too big & wont make much noise
