Recommended sewing machine for under $300?
I’ve got a limited budget, but I’m looking for a machine that will help me get started doing some home sewing, some easy garments and bags (at least to start) and some quilting projects. I’ve only ever used my mom’s old Singer Futura from the 80s which was amazing, but broke-down recently and doesn’t seem worthwhile to fix. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so I really can’t afford much more than the 0, but I do want a quality machine that will give me the ability to do a variety of projects without problems (like jamming with heavy fabrics, easy drop-in bobbin, etc). Also, I’m willing to start with fewer accessories if there are lots of options to add-on in the future. Any suggestions would be great!
