How to Sew Clothing More Economically?
For those who sew, how much do you spend on a garment, including fabric and notions? I just went to Joann’s and I spent for knit fabric and notions for four shirts, and I thought I was doing this to save money….:(
Pattiann, thank you for your response, but, I think for a shirt, for which I have to provide all the labor to produce, is absurd and only slightly lower than markey value.
Dripp, that doesn’t always work, i.e., I needed to buy special needles for knit fabric and I’m not willing to wait several more weeks to buy it, same thing with the elastic, and seam binding. I’m just heading over to Wal-mart, it’s much cheaper, no worrying about sales.
